Alys and Jack's Wedding at Wick Farm Barn, Somerset

Both our family and Jack's family go way back, so when Alys and Jack contacted us to photograph their wedding we knew we would be in for a good time! Little did we know that a global pandemic would hit and their journey to become husband and wife would be quite an adventure for them.

When the day finally came around in 2021 it was a beautiful celebration of love and friendship. They tied the knot at The Church of St Philip and St James in Norton st Phillip followed by a beautiful candle lit reception at Wick Farm Barn.

Hannah and Tom's Intimate Wedding at Glewstone Court, Ross-on-Wye

Ellie and Aled's Village Church Wedding in Wiltshire

I met Ellie and her bridal party at Lainstone House in Winchester for her getting ready photos. It was a very relaxed morning, with her mum, maid of honour and niece. We all then headed to All Saints Anglican Church in Broad Chalke, which is the brightest and prettiest church ever, The Blossom Company added to its beauty with stunning silk flower trees which provided the perfect backdrop for Ellie and Aled’s “I do’s!”

As a wedding guest you see all of the formalities but never the nitty gritty details of planning and the times things are meant to happen and of course making sure you leave plenty of time for photographs!

Why I became a photographer

I can’t remember the exact reason why I became a photographer, but I think it was along the lines of the fact that I loved art but I wasn’t overly keen on painting and I couldn’t really draw, picking up a camera was almost a shortcut for me. I took art at A level because it would open new doors for me in the art world to then lead me into do photography professionally, my sixth form didn’t have a photography A level so an art A level was the next best thing.
