Victoria and Ashley's Covid Christmas Wedding at Manor Hill House, Worcestershire

Victoria and Ashley aren’t strangers to our cameras, we have photographed them many times over the last 5 years, they are such a lovely family and we love hearing what they’ve been up to!

Victoria and Ashley had originally booked me to photograph their wedding day in May 2020, but as we all know due to the coronavirus this date had to change, they pushed it back to December 2020, when we all naively thought the virus would be gone. December came around and restrictions were still in place to prevent the big wedding they had dreamed of. They went ahead with their wedding anyway and decided they would have their big wedding with all of the family and friends once the pandemic was definitely over! This meant that they could have a beautiful small intimate wedding with their immediate families.

I was so excited to be photographing my first wedding of the year, in December!! We left Salisbury early in the morning and traveled up to Manor Hill House in Worcestershire. Everyone at the venue was so excited to be working at a wedding! I was the first to arrive and I pottered around taking detailed photos of the cake, gift table and I did a few close-ups of the reception room.

Victoria, her mum, and her little girl got ready in the bridal suite underneath where the ceremony would take place. Victoria wore a beautiful elegant dress from Gatehouse Brides and rocked a gorgeous rose gold veil, she adorned a beautiful cream bouquet by Bluebells Florist and Ashley looked awesome in a suit from A-Z wedding services.

Their ceremony was perfect, the Christmas tree in the room really added to the atmosphere of their Christmas wedding.

After the ceremony, they sat down for their wedding breakfast in a beautiful festive room and enjoyed lovely speeches, it was such a lovely day surrounded by their closest family members!
