Hannah and Tom's Intimate Wedding at Glewstone Court, Ross-on-Wye

I arrived at Glewstone house on a beautiful morning in August to be greeted by a beaming cheerful Tom, and rightly so, their wedding day was finally happening after a year of uncertainty due to the coronavirus pandemic.

Their families had just been enjoying a cute breakfast together, except for Hannah who wanted to keep things traditional on the morning of her wedding and ate breakfast in the comfort and quietness of The Gainsborough Suite and not see her Groom until she was walking down the aisle.

Hannah’s preparations were relaxed, she quietly got ready in between watching snippets of the Tokyo Olympics. Hannah and I went to school together so amongst the peace and quiet of her wedding morning we had a good catch up and a natter and I grabbed some close up photos of her shoes, dress, jewellery and gorgeous blooms by Designer Flowers. Hannah is amazing at makeup so she decided to do her own make-up and her mum and sister helped her into a stunning gown by Ronald Joyce before she made her way down the spiral staircase to meet her love!

Their ceremony was intimate, super lovely and very calm. They tied the knot in The Drawing Room surrounded by just over 40 of their closest family and friends. After their ceremony they caught up over Prosecco and canapés and we got cracking with their formal group photos, they only wanted a few group photos which suited the day really well and then we snuck over the fence into the apple orchard next door to photograph Hannah and Tom’s romantic portraits. The staff then transformed the drawing room into a blissful location for afternoon tea.

…here are the photos that tell their story!
